At $300,000,000 dollars its the most expensive and technologically advanced movie ever and its made by the master of blockbusters James Cameron.................and i must admit it looks amazing.....

slightly off topic but i was watching a recent episode of bones where one of teh weekly swap over trainee scientists was taking it in turns to que to see this movie with sweets and hodges in teh show.The stand in scientist is in this movie so in essence he was queing to see a movie he was actually part of in real life.

probably didnt explain that well lol

the whole episode seemed to revolve around three people queing to see avatar i wonder if james cameron has good friends who write the tv show bones lol

Waste of brass to me, a good movie just needs a good storyline n good actors, they can shove technology.:rolleyes: forgot to say needs a good setting fer the film.

watch teh trailer here so you dont need to install teh apple rubbish and its teh guy who says "it looks liek you " 1 min 18 seconds into teh trailer

hes playing a technitian in teh movie and plays one of teh students fighting for a job against other ones in bones that they alternate week to week

have to agree , watched Fort Apache the other night , nowt better than big John Wayne killin them damn pesky injuns :D :D...

though the idea of seeing Avatar on an regular size moviescreen ( not one of the mini screens in the new multi complexs) or on an IMAX screen in 3D might be worth it ... :cool:

I just booked for Saturday night, took the 3d with the executive seats option.

I'll still be taking a cushion for the small of my back. :D

Yes, we needed the funny glasses.

It is a long film, so cushion is definitely required. :)

they claim this movie was 20 years in teh making so are we to assume president bush stole his script when invading iraq or the more likely answer that cameron wrote most of this after iraq because the whole film seemed to be a huge dig at the iraq war lol

oh and what a great name for a difficult thing to find - un-obtainium pmsl

they may as well have made the iraq war 3D and stuck that on at the cinema , people been invaded for oil oops i mean un-obtainium and been made out to be the enemy so the public dont mind them doing the invasion

tony blairs and bushes solicitors must be prepparing to sue lol


film was ok though the pretty flashy lights kept the girls happy and the big guns kept the men happy
