The programmes are subliminal mind conditioning.
When you haven't switched on for a while your mind clears and you can see TV for what it really is - propoganda

Not spotted anything yet but Royle Family was good Cashy. :D

Margaret, I rarely watch TV but when I do I don't turn on and see propaganda, just some light entertainment.

That 'light entertainment' is packed with 'social conditioning'.
I find that comedians are the only ones you can safely watch - they extract the urine out of the other programmes:D

Highlights so far.

Victoria Wood. Back on form, after her last uninspired Christmas special nine years ago, which was uniformly panned. The Lark Pies to Cranchesterford was a brilliant parody of the Beeb's Sunday night bonnet and bustle feel good dramas, as was the sketch of the actress Bo Beaumont/Mrs Overall, trying to reignite her career today, assisted by her sensible shoed lady 'companion'. Laugh out loud funny. Julie Walters as Bo was pure class.

The Royle Family also produced audible mirth. The script and the cast again flawless.

Catherine Tate's Nan's Christmas Carol was a very funny spoof on the Dicken's tale, with the hilarious twist being shown after the final credits.

Usually there's much hype about what's on the sesonal box, and it's usually pretty dross, but these three programmes were comedic gems.

By far the best programme over Christmas was Morcambe and Wise 1973 Christmas Special.on BBC2.Next came the Royle Family. The rest was pure tripe.
