Just reading this article in my Mail, sounds really interesting.

Kate Madison, an amateur actress was so inspired by the blockbuster RINGS trilogy created by Peter Jackson, she WROTE, DIRECTED AND PRODUCED a prequel based on material from the original JRR books.
Her hour long movie BORN OF HOPE, made on a budget of just £25,000, is already a success, with more than 500,000 people viewing it for free on the internet. She put her £8000 life savings into the project, worked as an office temp to gain extra cash and raised a further £17,000 by posting a trailer on YouTube appealing for donations. She convinced more than 400 cast and crew to give their time for free and played the part of Elgarain the forest ranger herself.

yes it is massivly under the budget of the last films but you can tell, dont get me wrong its a good effort but it certainly isnt cinema worthy but could just about scrape bbc3 or ch4 standards in my opinion lol.

the people raving about this are probably the same idiots that said teh blair witch project was the next big thing and we all know how that film turned out to be utter garbage

all hype if you ask me although if she makes a few quid out of it then good for her but as for compteing with hollywood it certainly dosnt
