Apparently he's going out in a blaze of glory.

I think Emily should slowly realise that missing from her washing line are her freshly washed delicates. After a bit of sleuthing by Norris, they are discovered in Jack's old pigeon loft. Sealed in plastic bags, and all meticulously labeled.

On discovering this, Norris and Emily decide to burn down the pigeon loft, and it's collection of sullied smalls, not knowing Jacks having forty winks inside.
