Daybreak

What did you think of the first show?

They were always going to be an improvement on what went before, because GMTV was very, very poor.

I thought the presentation was ok, I liked the set. But Christine Bleakley looked to be trying a bit too hard with her false smile. No doubt it will settle down.

If there's one thing I can do without first thing in a morning, it's Adrian Chiles' disagreeable scowl. The new bird's legs aren't too good, either. Might start watching BBC.

Always watch the BBC Breakfast myself, and with the lovely Adrian now fronting Daybreak, won't be changing anytime soon, its bad enough now he's footy front man on ITV

Re: Daybreak

Does Christine Bleakley sleep with a coathanger in her mouth? Goodness she has a gob like a roven pocket.......and Adrian Chiles has the personality of a stop sign.
Absolute Rubbish...get 'em off!

Can Daybreak be saved? -  Jack on the Box | X-factor, reality TV, soaps, UK | MSN TV

Well, just a few weeks gone and the viewers have been leaving this programme in their droves.

I'm one of them. After a couple of days I was back dividing my beakfast viewing between the beeb and Sky News, who both get it right.

Taxi for Mr Childs and Miss Bleakley?

Two months on and the viewers are leaving in their droves.

Why is that? Well, the following article reflects exactly the feelings I have about the show, and puts it much better than I can.

It seems a bit flat to me - when I've tried to watch it found them trying too hard and they don't seem suited - like when they were on the One Show they worked better together. Maybe they should dress smarter and stop trying to be funny! Perhaps it would be better presented by Keith Lemon:confused:

Re: Daybreak

Well Daybreak is not getting any better and the only reason why them 2 simpletons are still on it is because ITV cant afford to pay them off. See article below.
