Ann Widdecombe on Strictly
I'm trying as hard as I can to be amused at Ann Widdecombe's exploits on Strictly. The sight of her prancing round the stage like a demented elephant SHOULD have me in stitches.
So why isn't it? Maybe I just find it hard to separate Ann Widdecombe the person from Ann Widdecombe the nasty, unsympathetic politician whose opinions were so diametrically opposed to mine for so many years. Leopards can't lose their spots that easily. :(:(:( |
Re: Ann Widdecombe on Strictly
I don't like her politics
I don't like her religion ....but I have actually met and talked with her for a couple of hours, and I like her |

Re: Ann Widdecombe on Strictly
I seriously think Anton Du Beke, who partnered Ann Widdecombe, deserves some sort of light entertainment award when they come to dish out the gongs.
His whole approach to the choreography was terrific and brought out the best of the hopeless situation he was presented with in taking part in a supposedly serious dance competition with someone who can't dance. The expressions on his face were priceless during the routines and when the judges were giving their comments. |
