The Men Who Stare at Goats!

I saw this film again last weekend...an excellent movie. ;)

THE MEN WHO STARE AT GOATS - HD Trailer - YouTube

It's based on facts even though it's a comedy the US Military researched what was in the film - believe it or not.

Saw it when it first came out, interesting and thought provoking. And funny.

Have you read the book it's based on? That scene at the start where the soldier tries to run through a wall and smacks his head actually happened according to the book all the characters in it are based on real people.

Remote viewing is an interesting topic.
Ingo Swann is the man who was used by the US military, and who trained others.
He died very recently.
Ingo Swann - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Remote viewing is a type of out of body experience (OBE)
(don't scoff - it happens - even Jaysay has had one)

There are plenty of videos on youtube if the subject interests you.

No, don't tend to read the book if I've seen the film and vice versa. I recently read The Psychopath Test by the same author and would like to read some of his other stuff eventualy.

I remember when my body was supple enough not just to stare at goats, however that's all I ever did, missed chances of youth eh? I could have made the headlines in the sun.

I've had a few psychic dreams that definately for told future events in my own life but it doesn't seem that these abilities can be controlled and made to work for order. As far as my experience has been.

Clive Wallwork now that's another name I haven't heard for years, along with John Chapman, Steve Dukes, Stan the Man (can't remember his last name, lived near Enfield cricket club) Barry Haworth, are they still knocking about?

Met Clive W in Leeds last month, realised we knew quite a few of the same folk and was led to reminisce about the gorgeous Julie who used to work in Plus 2 later marrying Rod Hill.. Ahh if only I still had hair to wash.

Is that the Alison Coo who worked at Melbourne House for a while? I recall that she was a fitness enthusiast.

Still see Rod and the delectable Julie.... she's still a looker
Now don't get me wrong and it was another time...but when Rod had his shop on Abbey Street post Warriors..it was always full of schoolgirls.
That's why we called in !!! ;)
Julie was only 14 or 15 I recall....
Keir Starmer would be investigating him now
This is something Mick Bull/Baz Howarth, Jimmy Gabbott and even Chinny at Plus2 have drawn to his attention many a time. Rod always gives a sardonic and inscrutable smile.

Little known fact: Baz could exercise his own psychic abilities and, following some intense concentration, stand up and runs headlong through a solid wall at Cloggers.
I saw him do it
