Slight upgrade + Skype
 

I've just upgraded the forum software to the latest version. A few bugs should be fixed but the main addition is that Skype has been added to the list of instant messaging applications that can be entered in AccyWeb. If you have skype you can enter your skype name in the UserCP edit profile section and people can then call you or send a message via accyweb. If you don't have skype I recommend you get it as it is a great tool for making and receiving free calls. You can download skype from http://www.skype.com

kewl ..downloaded it ages ago then i think i deleted it all when i was cleaning out the pc. will have to download it again ...

just a point make sure you have a mic or a usb phone connected to your pc to use skype.

Skype aint bad for free nattering sessions but if it dosnt appeal ( few of my mates hate it) Messenger 7.5 allows nattering by mike as well. Personally I prefer the Skype set up its a lot less hassle and is very stable (unlike some others) and is def worth using.

Nice addition Roy.. Been using Skype for almost a year now to communicate with the folks back in Blighty - much clearer than the crappy audio on MSN Messenger and never disconnects by its own accord.
