It's ok for some eh?.....Looks expensive....How much for a pint or a short?.....im monchin on some b/bque spare rib's from new Chinky on Blackburn Rd....Magic Wok....its very good...hope you all get over tomorrow without 2 much pain.....roll on the New Year.....

Ooooh, nice hotel. The brilliant thing about these hotels in the far east is that the drinks are usually no where near as expensive as the same standard of hotel over here.  :)  Don't work too hard tomorrow, me and Anne are also working. I will be doing home visits in Accy, Rishton and Ossy, so if anybody's out there, give me a wave. ;D

wow - what a good night!!  It's actually really cheap, like you say lettie the price for these hotels in the east are far more down to earth than our own.  We where booked in for the special christmas eve banquet/show and it only cost 25squid each for all you can eat and unlimited red/white wine.... I was on the beer though but that was ok at only a pound a pint. I still can't get my head round eating chickens heads, so I only had salad buttys!   Non stop entertainment all night and a raffle at the end... they picked me out of the crowd to pick out the 1st prize and made the mistake of handing me the microphone, somehow the ticket I pulled out was my girlfriends and we won a DVD player and a voucher for a free night in the hotel!  Hehe - it was a suited up affair as well, but I don't do that so wore my accy stanley top, when I got hold of the microphone I sang the Oh Accrington song from stanley....... the chinese didnt know what was going on!!  what a great night!   plenty of pictures to so i might get one up later!

;D  You sound like you had a fabulous night. My hotel in Hong Kong was fantastic and I assumed food and drink would be expensive, but it was actually very cheap to eat and drink there especially in comparison to European prices. Bangkok was even cheaper, and the hotel bar stocked excellent wine, which I sampled quite a lot of. - Well! It'd be rude not to. ;)
