No news but I'll update on the stats seens how the ones at the mo are totally wrong!

Forum Open = 147 Days
Total Posts = 2334             P/day = 15.81
Total Topics = 278              T/Day = 1.89
Total Members = 383         M/Day = 2.61

Busiest Day:- 12/08/03, 67 Seperate Visitors, 42929 Total Hits, 248MB Transfered.
Average Hits - 19231/Day (37days)
Average Transfered - 114MB/Day (37days)
Average Unique Visitors - 34/Day (24days)

Yes you are. Every seperate person that comes to the site is one. If you come to the site 3 times a day you still only count as 1 unique visitor.

Sorry admin but the word "bollox" spings to mind.  No one on the internet has ever found a reliable method to count unique visitors.. I don't wish to cast doubt on your abilities sunshine but if you ahve managed what the whole internet can't then your gonna make a few quid..:)

Ya can't reliably count unique visitors..

I mean even taking your sentence... whos day?  When does your day start and end and does it overlap with an australians per chance?  ..Someone on a modem gets a differnet IP everytme they dial up so you can't use that... blah blah

At best its an estimation

Yup still cynical... or p****ed one or the other :)

hehe - I know harry - it is an estimate. But it doesn't really need to be that accurate - I'm not trying to sell you something am I!?
It's just to give an insight into how many people are using the site, I suppose I could have just said 102 hits per day which is the average on the front page and not took into consideration same IP etc. But I tried to be honest and divided 102 by 3 to give a reasonable estimation, after the logs told me I had a 2.5:1 unique IP ratio for the front page. I'm not trying to pull the wool over anyone's eye's it's just a bit of interest thats all!
