CONGRATULATIONS To all accyweb members

CAN i just say on behalf of Roy and all the Accyweb team .

Thank you we will now be Classed as a BIG BOARD with over 500,000 posts this is a great

achievement for the site and something Roy has been after for quite some time:D:D:D

AT THIS MOMEMT THERE IS ONLY 2,157 BOARDS IN THE WORLD CLASSED AS BIG BOARDS

They still are the site must have over 500,000 post and the site is then put forward and they check and your put on the database.

We have got to 500,000 a lot quicker if our mods where not so quick to delete threads and posts, anyway it really is quite an achievement to reach the half million keep up the good work Roy.

There are lots of forums, both local and inter/national, that aren't as well run by the moderators, don't have as active a membership, and yet we still attract the moaning Minnies, who enjoy putting the forum down at every opportunity.

The solution is simple. If you don't like it here, feel free to stay away, or at least stop boring us with your inane comments about how bad it is here.

It is an achievement, and everyone, regular or infrequent posters, should be congratulated for making Accy Web the great site that it is.

You should know as well as I do that the most irritating contributers aren't ignored. Look at me for example :p people complain about pretty much everything I say yet they keep coming back for more :D JB I think we are actually the FAVOURITE members of accyweb, because people just love to hate us :cool::thankya:

A great achievement! Muchas gracias to Roy and the mods. As for the criticisms that have been levelled against the forum, it always seems to me that visiting Accyweb is like chatting to a group of friends in the pub - sometimes people wander off the subject at hand, sometimes the talk drivel, sometimes they make funny comments that aren't so funny (and I certainly plead guilty to all of those crimes), but it's all part of the "craic" and it certainly doesn't stop us from coming back for more!

Depends what they are about I suppose, but a newbie innocently bringing up the old posts can sometimes give a good thread new life.
A trash thread that has at last faded away being brought back in the hopes of repeating that trash again by the thread starter can hardly be classed as innocent or useful either to the site or the person bumping it.
