AndrewB has been promoted within the forum to Technical Administrator. Andrew has recently impressed me with his Linux skills and general understanding of PHP/MySQL/Forums and I feel he will be a great member of the AccringtonWeb team.

As I am away quite a lot I hope Andrew will be able to help out with server problems/upgrades and modifications.

I hope you'll join me in congratulating AndrewB in his new role with AccringtonWeb.

Since most of the moderators on Accy Web seem to steer clear of any heated debate, thus remaining beyond reproach, and who then can't be accused of using their power to sway an argument, does this mean our new Technical Administrator will have to stay away from political threads?

I did .. Perl, C, PHP, MySQL the lot over 15+ years.. in the end I knew 8 or 10 programming or scripting languages and went from feeling like a pioneer to hating it..

Then I got a camera and i dont touch any of it and its so easy to get behind with techonology I am well out the race..

Did you fix the shoutcast server this morning at 5am ish?

I was worried that my David Allen Coe - Hot Wet Tight Bald Pussy (meow) song that Tinks sent me had broken it. I just tried it again and it worked fine.

It appeared to go down about the time I had a power cut, was wondering if the corrupted stream could have caused it :confused:
