When you are replying to a thread I have noticed that quite a few people have inserted comments made on other posts, how do you do this??? Or am I just being a bit thick??

As mick suggests, there is no need to quote wrap the whole post if you are only replying to a part of it, just leave what you want and delete the rest.
Large unnecessary, space wasting quotes may be deleted.
