Seeing who is in chat room.
 

As mentioned to Roy on Saturday.

It would be great if we could see who is in chatroom like we could before, especially because we have new chatters coming in all the time.

There were 12 people in on Thursday evening!!!

Last night saw a new chatter on cam in her bra and knickers on cam, well it was a hot night! No names but l told you l'd get you back for saying you needed a microscope.;)

It's always a bit of a lottery if you can't see who, if anyone is in there, especially for anyone on dial up because it takes ages to get in.

OK, on the main forum page the users in chat is located at the top of the page and also at the bottom with the other info boxes...

I've also added this to the 'search' page as that is one of the most used pages when checking for new posts....

it says i,m still in and went in cos someone was in,but they had gone=gremlins lol just been back in cos it says micks in but hes not pmsl

I can see my former playmates in the chatroom, they can see me but are in a private locked room, and don't want to play with me.;)

I'll wait, hoping the Teneriffe/Spanish/Rising Bridge posse are in soon then. :)

Well the chat room doesn't seem to like me being in there at all! Been locked out 3 times.. Oh well... its old software already and there have been quite a few updates so will have to upgrade to the latest version soon....

You can put curser under chatters name on forum and see whose is in private room, saves time going in. ;)

I saw Mr Tealeaf was in chatroom an hour ago, l popped in and we had a short conversation.

I've since logged off, and l'm defo not in there, yet it looks as if l have been sat there for the last hour?

It was showing you as being in there this morning too Garinda, at around half 8. I went in and you weren't there, but then on the front page it wasn't showing that I was in, just you still.

At 8.30 this morning l was defo not ,on as l'd left Accy Web at about two ish!!

There does seem to be a glitch, when you pop in it wants to keep you???

It did the same the other day. I even logged out and tried going invisible, but it still showed my name as being in chat. Perhaps like a sticky thread, somebody as made ME sticky???


I don't want to appear TOO sad by looking as if l'm sitting there waiting for people to chat too , even when l'm not.:(

If you don't log out of the chat room properly then it does not know you have left.. stupid I know, but it needs updating and when I get some time i'll do it.

Doing /quit seems to work, then closing page.

theres a red blob in the top right of the chat room screen.... this quits from the chat room although it is far from obvious that this is the function of the red blob.

oh I thought that red blob removed karma from everyone in the chat room that's why I never wanted to touch it, ha ha ha ;)

Still showing whoever is in the chatroom on the front page, long after they've left. If I just pop in and out, it looks like I'm sat there all on my own just waiting for someone to join me!

I saw someones name in there all day on their own and wondered what they were doing, that explains it Sarah.

It's how you close the chatroom down when you leave .... if you close it down by clicking the X box in the top right corner it leaves you looking like your billy no-mates in chat on your own if you close chat down by clicking the red blob (as Roy put it :) ) it logs you out properly ............... hope that explains it properly :confused:
