Journals.

I don't know if any other bloggers have noticed [or care,] but when you click on your journal it brings up the first entry, and not the last like it used to. It's a real pain when you are trying to edit a new entry, and check for glaring spelling mistakes, which I'm afraid I have to.

Also it shows pages of comments, but you can only read the last page, all the others are inaccessible.:(

Re: Journals.

I agree with you rindy it is very strange. I also liked the way the journals were set up that it brought them in entry order (with most entries first). I know you can change it to that but you have to do it everytime you go into the journals

Re: Journals.

I never used journals before but I have to admit it does confuse me! I keep posting my new entry in as a comment, plus gets a bit annoying when you have to scroll through them all to get to the last one. But as I'm new to it I'll just have to get used to it.

Re: Journals.

Thank you for changing it, it's much easier to edit.:)

I still can only read the last page of comments though.:(

Re: Journals.

It's not a great problem, but you can still only read the current page of the blog comments.
It shows the numbers of the other pages but you still can't read them.:(

Cheers.:)

I keep forgetting to even do the thing! It must be ages since I made an entry.

Willow I never even knew you had a blog, I certainly have never read an entry. I will go off and search for it.
Please start it up again, I love reading them.:)

Re: Journals.

Doh, I had read it because I've left a comment.

You were still a single lady then, which means a new entry is long over due.;)

I started one on the JamButty forum too, I liked playing about with the format of that one but I never kept up to it!

Maybe I enjoy discussions more than waffling to myself. I might get around to having another go at it.

Enjoy your life, which it sounds as if you are. I hope they just served you pop and crisps at the Stanley bar.;)

The right girl will come along when you least expect it, in the meantime enjoy your friendships, especially with the love that wasn't meant to be.:)

Blimey i've not done a journal my life's not that intersting at all unless an insomnia cure is needed ...interesting reading others:)

Re: Journals.

Ah....but that's where you are wrong........it is interesting to glimpse what is going on in someone elses life...and sometimes it gives perspective to the life you are living......even the mundane stuff. It is like, thinking everyone has tidy drawers......and no bogey hole where they store junk....'just in case'....it isn't true......we all have those places, and mundane lives.

accymel 22-10-2006 19:38

Re: Journals.

mmm somehow i dont think that ...

got up
breakfast
posted on accyweb
read mails
make several brews
read more mails
dinner
refereed the kids fight 100th time today
made tea
washed up
back on accyweb
watch tv
Bed

Mmmmmm not very interesting at all & that will run daily this week:(

Re: Journals.

It is like Frank Carson used to say 'It's the way I tell 'em'.....I am amazed that anyone ever reads the stuff that I write.....because, in essence, mine is just the same.
I mean, it would be good to hear what the kids were fighting over and how you calmed them down.....whether you lost your temper.....ripped their arms out......beat them with the soggy end. Go on....give it a go!

garinda 22-10-2006 22:47

Re: Journals.

I agree with Marg. It's not the mechanics of your day to day life that make them interesting, mine would have been so dull, but what you think and how you live your life.

I still write one, though I now do it anonymously, warts and all. No one knows me, and no one can get upset with me. It's very therapeutic.:)

I keep meaning to add an entry to my blog, there's enough going on, hee hee but as I am the world's worst procrastinator I never seem to get round to it :p

You're like a young Morrisey. You do make me smile, and also cringe a bit, because I can see a bit of myself at the same age....except I was ten at the time, to your seventeen.:D:p
