Old posts.

 Why can't you read old posts of some members?

I was thinking of BKK inparticular. A thread was removed from the Stanley section about the letter in the Observer about Stan the monkey being at the match at Stanley on Monday. I was suprised it was removed, and saw that BBK was moderating. I clicked on his profile out of noseiness, and he/she's posted 210 posts, but when you try to read the old posts like you can with most other members, you are denied access.

Is this just this for one person?

No big deal, I'm just intrigued.

Re: Old posts.

The reason that some posts cant be seen is because they are posted in the moderators section, which stating the obvious can only be seen by Moderators. I have to admit that i didn't read said thread (i'm a poet!!) so i'm not up to speed on it.
as for your post being deleted Baldy, which thread was it in??

I remember that thread Baldy. what actually happened was after your comment Nigel P did the same thread in the stanley forum and for a while they were both there and then the original one in general chat was deleted

baldy 23-01-2006 22:46

Re: Old posts.

But their wernt even 1 in the stanley section thats why i asked for a mod to move it to stanley section and it looked like a mod had copied the thread but deleted my post because only i replyed to it.

I Have An Idea what happend!!

Re: Old posts.

It looks like he had duplicated the thread. “Enquiry About Gary Roberts”

Thread #1 General chat.
http://www.accringtonweb.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=18841

Thread #2 Stanley
http://www.accringtonweb.com/forum/s...223#post227223

Neither has been deleted.

Re: Old posts.

I do remember there being two of the same post, one in general chat and one in accy stanley. Hence your reply not showing in the stanley forum. the reason I know this is I always use the new post tab and it showed them both. Just trying to answer your original question thats all

Well something very strange has just happened. The link to the Stanley threads no longer works and the thread seems to have totally disappeared.

Did anyone else, apart from me see the Stanley thread by having clicked on the link above?
