Chat Room Notification
 

Can I make a request please for the main page to show who is in the chatroom as it once did? So that we don't have to check in to find out that we are on our own in there.

There is one already.
Look at the bottom of the homepage and you’ll see it under “what’s going on”

Doh!

Help me out here Len, where am I looking? All I've got under there is 'Currently on-line, AccyWeb stats, and Today's Birthdays'.

Have a look at this, it's not a good image but you should be able to see it.

Do me a favour if you cannot see this on the forums page then log out and view the forums as a guest and then tell me what happens.

you can only see the screen that you have shown Len if you are viewing as a guest. When I look whilst logged on, it doesn't show it, but when logged out it does

It's the same for me. Dont want to log out every time I want to see who's in there.

I’ve just tried viewing at the forums using opera. While I was a guest I could see the “Members currently in Accychat” section but when I logged in as a member I then could not see the “Members currently in Accychat” section.
As a moderator I can see it while logged in.
Strange.....

I think this is a job for our Roy.

You can just look at Who's online down the Quick Links menu - that says where everybody is.

We’ve just done a few more tests and it seems most probably that only the moderators and admin can view the “Members currently in Accychat” section while loged in.
Members will have to logout if they wish to see who’s in the chatroom. Hehe

Hopefully Roy will be able to sort out the problem.

I can see the box where members in chat should show. It has no title for the box and it is not showing 2 of us who are in chat at the moment
