Idea for new Section
Roy,
What about a Sports Section, as not everyone on here likes Sports, so if we had our own section for it all sporting topics could be discussed in there. For example we call have a Football section to be discussed on all things United, Stanley, Burnley and Blackburn etc. Also A grass roots section for all the people who ether play or have an interest in local events such as Saturday/Sunday Football, Dats and Dominoes leagues etc. Just an idea |
Re: Idea for new Section
[smiley=idea.gif] I think that's a good idea, it would hopefully keep any sporting related topics in one area. Applaud for that one Ruud. :D

Re: Idea for new Section
Not forgetting that there is a very healthy Accrington Stanley forum at www.accringtonstanley.co.uk and why would an accrington board want to talk about blackburn or burnley teams? wouldn't that be insulting?
Otherwise an excellent idea for local sports.. park football, darts, pool and all the many other sports. Good idea ruud. I ahve a feeling Roy will go for it:) |
Re: Idea for new Section
Any Accy darters around?
|
Re: Idea for new Section
Our pub has two datrs teams in Winter league, not a darter myself but a pool player

Re: Idea for new Section
i think a grassroots section would be a great idea.
they have a grassroots pullout in the Lancashire Evening Telegraph on Tuesday which is very good and we could hopefully have one on similar lines. do you read the grassroots pullout Ruud? i have a column in every month - the next one is due next week after our game at Foxhill. |
Re: Idea for new Section
will look into it tonight - just off to halifax now to watch the mighty reds! :)
|
Re: Idea for new Section
What's a grassroots section? Something to do with gardening?
|
Re: Idea for new Section
all up for that and even though i am from Accy and follow the success of Accy Stanley still am a rovers supporter.would like to see the new section running
|
Re: Idea for new Section
have to agree with Mik there.
i follow the Stanley when i get the chance (my girlfriends dad goes all the time) but at heart i am a Rovers fan. i think the grassroots section would be interesting Roy - i hope you can work your magic and come up with something!! |
Re: Idea for new Section
500 accy fans at halifax last night making a hell of a lot of noise.. 500 travelling fans.. not bad for accy :)
