Please Help
 

Please Please can anyone help. I am trying to make some leaflets on the pc using word and I have nearly got it but I cant get the set up quite correct. I want a A4 normal size paper to get to leaflets on it landscape way if you get what I mean so there would be 2 leaflets on one piece of paper and they would be A5 size.
I am also tring to make borders around them but the right side border will not print.
Please help someone I have being trying for 3 days now and I cant stand it.

Try adjusting teh margins to make the right side border to print. It is probably outside teh margins so it won't print.

As for doing what you said, I wouldn't use Word. You need a Desktop Publishing program, a free one available here http://www.freeserifsoftware.com/sof...us/default.asp

You will probably find it alot easier. I find Word is very difficult for non power users to get things formatted as they like.

I'd recommend to set it up as a landscape document with two columns. I put a border of 1cm all round and a 2cm gap in the middle between the columns.

Hi Emma

I don't know how experienced you are with Word, but you could try inserting a table onto the page - you'd need 3 columns to give you 2 distinct areas for the posters - and then just hide the lines in the middle column (Format/Borders and Shading) in the preview box, just click on the lines you want to delete. Firstly though, set your margins (File/Page Setup) and then you can change the border style/colour (Format/Border). You may have to move the margins slightly as it sounds as though your printer is set to a different size than the A4 page.
