arcade

i dont think alot of you will agree with my idea but i think you should wipe all the high scores off the arcade like every year or something so it becomes a competition i mean some of the high scores are impossible to beat

im getting a bit fed up of going on games and noticing the high score being something like 45205960

its impossble :(

I too find it impossible to reach (and stay at the top) the nearest I have come is on mission mars, however, I still enjoy trying. I think I would be really annoyed If I had taken all year to achieve my goal only to find the scores had been reset a week or two later. At the moment I try to improve on my personal best and if I am lucky I will creep up the scoreboard.
What really annoys me is when you get a good score on the game only to find that it records a lower score (Queens Jewels)

Re: arcade

It would be unfair to wipe the scores off-there are over 400 games and most are very beatable.my advice would be to choose about 8 games and keep playing them.i have spent hours + hours on just a few games and managed to beat records, and if i can do it anybody can, good luck!

I've yet to play but couldn't you just "move" the high scores? Maybe as a side note have a list of previous high scores. That way, the highest score ever achieved (and their owner) still get their bragging rights but newbies can go for a new yearly high score. Plus you could supply high scores by the year.

Just a thought! Now I've gotta start playin' eh?

Re: arcade

Surely it would be better to have a high score for the year and one for all time. That way all the effort the current high scorers have gone through isn't a waste.

Re: arcade

If you wiped all the scores it wouldn't take long for the obsessives to repeat their highest score and you'd just feel as bad all over again.
