loading accy web

I am logged on here at work and all is fine. But early this morning I was unable to get onto the site at home and it has remained the same! The only thing I can think is that my broadband provider tiscali has done some kind of update which is blocking my access. Is anyone else on tiscali broadband but having no probs with this site??

I know Mick is looking into see if there could be any other reason I could be blocked at home from seeing the site (although it seems to log me in!!)

any feedback would be helpful, cheers

oh and forgot to mention can go onto other websites with no problems!!!

The same happened to me.

Its as frusrtrating as finding you have no milk for the first brew of the day.

Happily all seems well now though.:)

Yup, like Anne and Harwood Red I'm with Tiscali.

It only happened with Accy Web, no other sites.

Can I just suggest that those of you having problems try Landy zone?
It's another of Roys sites and I think it's on the same server, if you can get that then it should rule out the problem being with accyweb and probably mean long frustrating calls to your provider.

Tiscali probably had a DNS problem. If it happens again where you can get other sites and not this try pinging accringtonweb.com. You have to click start then run. Type cmd in the box and press enter. Then type "ping accringtonweb.com" without the quotes and press enter. If you had done it when it was not working I would guess you would not have got a reply

Re: loading accy web

i'm on tiscali and this dropping of the site, 'the site could not be found' started with blackpool, then burnley, then warwickshire, now here. It seems to be after the upgrade software has been added. the odd thing is though, is that while blackpool is doing it, here doesn't and while here is, blackpool is fine, same with warwickshire. I nevere really get it on proboards software or msn or photopix. I've had it a few times on te quiz but dunno if thats related.
Could that all be tiscalli ?

According to them - something to do with the phone lines. After that i dont know. I'm on AOHELL and at the min dont have any problems........ not yet never mind fingers crossed everythings crossed!!!
