i dont know if anyone else has this problem but my posts have been stuck on 81 for a while even though i have made more they just seem to be stuck on 81,anyone else have this problem said 81 its actually 82

Your recent posts are in the Anything Goes section and posts in there don't increase the post for any of us. It's set up that way.

Alot of new members ask this one, the thing is that at one time we used to be able to earn money (ackers) but you could only earn it for certain posts, posts in anything goes for example don't add to the post count which means you wouldn't earn money.

Read this for an explanation about ackers it does mention the post count.

The Ackers System....

If you look at your recent history most of your posts have been in the 'anything goes' section, so they won't be added to your total.

Maybe it's time this changed. We have no use for ackers so maybe all posts should count to your post count. Some people post more in anything goes than others, it would be interesting to see everyones real post count not the current artificial one.

Wasn't it more to do with qualifying for access to the games rather than earning ackers? You had to have so many quality posts before you could play the games in the arcade and the "anything goes" section was for the non serious type posts so didn't count. Mind you so many posts in General these days aren't necessarily serious debate topics either. :D

D'oh! Trust you to pick up that Mick! Heehee flippin typo I missed there. :D You know I don't have a hole in my PC to plug that keyboard into so I'm using a silly little USB one for now and it's ever so stiff and misses some of the letters even if I hit the keys. :rolleyes:

I've been having a wander looking for threads about post counts and ackers to educate myself and came across THIS one.
