I know that there is green:D and red:mad: karma given, but what is the grey one for?:confused:

Yes, you've got karma off a newbie that hasn't achieved any rep power yet. It doesn't affect the amount of karma you have, it's the thought that counts ;)

That is correct. You will need to have 100 posts or more if you wish to add/remove karma from others (Red/Green). If having less than 100 posts then you won’t be able to make any difference to anyone’s karma scores but yet you can still leave a comment(Gray).
I’m not sure about the colour codes these days, Gray. Purple, blue, because we’ve had a couple of upgrades since the karma system was first installed.
There may even be a limit as to how many posts you have to make before you can add comments.

Why am I not allowed to give Karma?? I just tried giving someone some, and it said I must spread some around first. Does that mean, that I have to give other people Karma, before I give it this person again. As I have give it to them in the past.

You have to give it to other people before you give it to that person again Lolly. I think you have to give it to about 20 people before that person again and you can only give it to 2 people in any 24 hour ... which is an absolute pain at times, I have a back log of karma I owe out at the minute :(

I'm guessing, but it may be that those with higher rep power (e.g., Willow) may be able to give Karma more frequently. Also, either the rules for spreading it around before giving to the same person have either eased, or maybe my impriving rep power allows a greater frequency in these instances as well.

In any case, I find the more Karma I give, the more I get. Soooooo - a big THANK YOU to rindy and tinks (what brand of halo polish do you prefer, tinks?).

Being a well brought up little poppet, I always feel obliged to send a pm to thank people for karma, if it's signed.

I would dearly love to do the same for karma deductions. Strangely though, there is never a forwarding address.:D

This giving out too much Karma is annoying, I have wanted to give 3 people Karma all day, but I have already given too much Karma, just managed to give 1 person some (lucky Garinda!!) but can, once again not give any.

This evening while moving a dozen or so posts from here to another thread, we seem to have lost them. Thankfully they had nothing to do with the questions being asked and that’s why they were being moved. Their destination was meant to be here but they never made it.
