Treacletart, no-one is trying to crucify you.......and i think that a few of us have put forward answers to the original question. Having said that there may not be just one answer......but your feeling of persecution doesn't help. If you feel that this is such a bad place then you have a choice - no-one forces anyone to visit this forum or to post threads.......and if that is seen as a derogatory comment...it certainly isn't meant to be. I'm just stating a fact.

Hmmn.I can honestly say Accyweb is certainly a friendly site,I'm a newbie and never had any problems,arguments and little spats happen now and again,I've seen worse on other forums!
I don't subscribe to the whole mafia idea,some post more than others and of course,as such they're going to get maybe closer to other high posters cos they're always on here!! (think that makes sense? ish.)
In fact,I'm moving away from Accrington quite soon-I'm not from round here,but I have always been made welcome,and I will go from here with some fond (and not so fond!) memories.

Blackbandit, that is good to hear...that you, as a newbie have been made welcome and see the site as a friendly site.

I think there are some people who have come on here and have posted threads that will incite aggravation, and they do it for fun...then they stand back and watch the fireworks. They are, of course, a minority......but the site could well do without their input.

Yes, Willow.....Treacletart didn't ask any question he just levelled the criticism at us that we hadn't answered the question.....but to my mind it was a rhetorical question anyway, which didn't beg an answer. I think there are a number of us who had posted what we thought were the reasons that accyweb was being used like a school playground.

I've been here for ages and over the years I've heard it said that there is a mafia, who's the godfather, some say Roy, others BBK, even heard Mick is a candidate.
