Mick there is no way that I thought you had said anything out of place all I wanted to do was stop this silly bickering between us all so that we can carry on enjoying the site, I am really glad that you have re-considered & are going to continue as a moderator your efforts & input would have been sadly missed by us all. LET'S ALL NOW LOOK FORWARD TO WHAT THE NEXT YEAR OF ACCYWEB IS GOING TO BRING TO US.

Mick - I'm glad you have decided to stay as moderator.

Unfortunately, the first mention of money has turned everyone crazy. If anyone would like to make a donation that should be up to them. Yes Roy started this website, but it wouldn't be here if no one posted. At least give the opportunity to let people choose to pay a donation of any amount whenever they feel. I agree that a paypal a/c would be the best option. I think more "heated debates" could be caused if it was up to one person to collect money at meetings.

Hey Bagpuss,

don't worry about it, any-one of us could have asked those questions, the result from it is that we have all had a thread that gave us plenty to think about & in our own ways have come to the same conclusion, Accyweb is worth discussing, arguing about & finally enjoying each others company on!

Just one final comment from me on this thread. No way am I going to pay to Pay-Pal ( whoever he/she is) and no way am I going to pass any money to a third party. If I feel like forwarding a donation as a thank-you to Roy then I will do that, and if, for whatever reason Roy declines it and returns it then I will accept that also.

hello what i miss geeeeeeeeez i turn my back for two mins and look any more of it and i will turn this car around and no one will have ice cream hehehehehe dont think i can make the meeting dont get back to the uk untill 11th

I don't think I'll be going to the meeting either - although I think it would be better described as a get together not a meeting - no decisions about the site can be made.
