Need board admin/mod help please
 

Hi anyone..

Need some advice. I am trying to post an updated Prediction league table in the Stanley section which is over 120 lines long and a bit of text at the top of it and at the bottom of it but I keep getting an error when clicking submit saying :

1. The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 10 characters.

is the updated bit shorter than 10 letters?

When you have copied and pasted the update, try adding 10 .'s like this ..........
The post might not take the copy and paste as letters, if ya know what I mean
It might work, if not, then I have no idea:Dlol

Think I can help.

Once you’ve pasted your table code to that post you must then add some other text outside of the table code.like you have done with the others.
add something like this.

Perhaps before the forums upgrade Roy allowed HTML code to be used in the Stanley forums but at the moment it's not.It may want turning back on.

When was the upgrade? As youve realised exactly what Im trying to do Len, then if it helps, I first came across the problem about a week and a half ago - sumat like that? Im doing nothing different to what I normally do when I post that table and I am trying to include text outside the main table thats pasted in as I do every time I post the latest one, a line above as you have seen for yourself when you posted earlier and a line below with my name on it which is longer than 10 characters on its own never mind a 120 line league table!! :D Oh and its a new thread Im trying to post because since some change ages ago, whenever I edited the league table thread it crashed my IE or wouldnt paste correctly so I was told to create a new thread every time the league is updated, plus the edit feature disappears now after 15 mins or so. Not a problem - just letting you know, Im not trying to edit an existing thread, Im trying to post a new one....

Will keep tabs on this thread to see if it can be sorted...

Well the forums were upgraded at the end of December and perhaps the problem started then, yet wasn’t realized till a couple of weeks ago.
Unfortunately Roy’s away again and I not sure when he’s back. Leave it with us and we’ll try and get it sorted.

Could you not take a screen shot and upload the tabla as a jpeg for the time being Jimbo untill you get to load the html table - just a thought

K.S.H - I could do but I would need to do about 5 screenshots to get the whole league...
