Why do the 'smiles' on the right of the screen allways pop-up in different order and why do the ones I want to use are never in the same place ,

I think its just the way they load when you click on them no particular reason:)

Thanks, it's no big deal , its just the ones I like to use I have search for , they are never in the same place twice , not complaining , just passing a comment ,

My smiley box on the right appears to have become elongated and when I hit the ones on the far right, they do not appear in the text, so now I tend to use the one in the tool bar ^^^^ just above the text with smiley face and drop down .. much easier. Think they do tend to be in the same position..

The advanced can be slow and a nuisance as to their changing positions, however, small penalty to bear ... :D

Sorry G-C meant the little tool bar that is at the top of the message box .. I wasn't very clear and, of course, the tool bar disappeared when I posted :rolleyes: :D

the smilies always go off too when ya finished with your comments, it would be better if the advanced smilies stayed on instead of having to click for it all the time......:D

Talking of smilies, I'm often disappointed there isn't one with a zipped mouth, for when you know something but really shouldn't say it, and a smiley with a pursed mouth, bloated green cheeks, and looks like it is about to heave, for when something's been posted that's particularly gross.:D

There are thousands of smilies out there, just google the one you want and something usually gets listed, I keep pages of smilies in my bookmarks so I can search for an appropriate one, that way I'm not restricted to just what's on site.

Which is fine until someone changes the smiley you linked from another site to something else.

Many web sites ask you not to link images from other sites for that exact reason. Today smiley face could tomorrow be something obscene (not that you would would care ;))

Yay Neil I have some down loaded on my task bar, but have been asked not to use them on another site log onto for that reason, but I only occasionally use them on here:D;):mad::(:):rolleyes::confused::cool::o:dumm y2: are good enough for me, usualy
