refusing to delete my pictures is actually - as they are being used when i no longer give permission. and regardless of where a persons media is - all copyright priviliges still stand

anyway - to mick - it really isnt that big of a problem - i am only suggesting that perhaps - to be fair - put it in the main rules at the top of the thread - i looked through the rules and the forum guidlines perhaps they have changed since i came on here but i specifically looked for anything like the "for keep" rule and in wasnt there.
i am happy to not enter comps, when others choose to enter that is fine too, but i wasnt happy to be told no you wouldnt remove them and so felt i had to replace them - infract me all you like :Dbecause it doesnt matter, now i know i wont enter or upload any pics.

but please dont stop the competitions as people enjoy them - obviously.

I for one enjoy the competitions and trust the mods enough to know that if i had a valid reason for wanting my pictures removing from the comp, they would.
If you dont want your pictures to be accessable to the public then dont put them on the internet!

Say Via Photo Bucket. - Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket

Then the owner of the pics has the right to remove/delete/edit as they feel appropriate.

As its only a bit of fun, just delete the olds thred after a month or so anyway.

As a extra bonus its less use of forum bandwith to. (well I think it would be)?

I can see the point in a way that the owner of the pic should be able to remove it if they require.

We don't mind deleting photos if there is a problem from the Gallery
But Deleting them from a competition AFTER the voting and winning a competition(comp 30) makes things look bad if you don't want your photo to stay don't put it in a competition
The competitions are just a bit of fun and i don't want exhaustive rules to spoil the competitions just common sense is all that is needed
We have a perfectly good Gallery with settings capable of running the competition why post a thread
we have plenty of server space so that's not a problem as well
