Very slow loading pages
 

Ok Roy I love the new look site its quite sexy and modern But please please please take away the gremlins :( Its taking ages to load pages and some of them i cant even get on to , grrrrr really frusterating:eek:

Reall gone off grey blank pages now:(;)

mine is ok atm, but I have noticed, every now and then, I get a black square that covers most of my screen, and it just will not go until I shut the page and open it again....... grrrrrrrr that means signing in and everything again.

mine is very slow loading to the extent that I downloaded firefox which is a bit better bit still a lot slower than the old site... I noticed in another thread roy saying he had no probs and could we note anything that might be the problem but wouldn't know where to start!!

Mine is the same, am going to ask Mick if he will call on and take a look see if he can do anything with it. No point anybody giving me instructions I am computer illiterate:confused:

I was trying to get onto the problems after upgrade thread but it wouldnt let me, Hence me starting a new thread. its driving me crazzzzzzzzeeeeeeeee

Due to slow load times on the new style I have modified the old blue simple graphicless style and brought it up to date, it is now available if you need/want it. Use the Style Chooser in the bottom left corner or click on this link to go blue http://www.accringtonweb.com/forum/index.php?styleid=44

It's my turn to be on a go slow today!!!!!! It is driving me MAD :mad: and no amount of changing it to blue or whatever is helping!!

Anyone else on a go slow today?? See even AW server is coming out in sympathy for the fuel prices..... GO SLOW!!

Mine's ok on blue at the moment, though I always find the new black/red one to be slow.

Its her own fault, what nice person tells someone whos been housebound for two weeks with a poorly child, that theyre having a family day out to the pub because the weathers soo good!

Since midday page loading takes 11 seconds
Using Firefox and blue theme
Phoned darwendosser (in Darwen on Virgin) -his is fine

Mine was awful all afternoon yesterday I thought it was my conection, disconected it twice, then gave up and went out for a pint,seemsokay this morning

It's been running slow all evening, but seems to have kicked in again, mines now loading quikley as normal.

About 60 minutes ago I began to experience slow loading pages.
I had no other internet pages open.

Now you might consider this paranoic of me, but could it be someone piggybacking my connection?

I know that 2 men are spending the night, with booze, in a caravan on a nearby allottment.

It isn't a party as such - they could have a laptop with them.

I unplugged for 30 minutes and have now come back on and loaded at normal speed.
I have also switched off the lights at the back so they will think I am unplugged and in bed.

Paranoia?

If you log onto the admin panel of your router there is a page that shows all connected devices. You will see if anyone else is on.

I can come and check its locked down properly if you like. Let me know and i'll pop in when i am passing
