who's on line setting

This 'who's on line shows 25 names as standard.
There are often far more on than that.
The facility is there to display more, but it won't stay at the number you set.
What Willow, Westender and Wynonie are up to is often concealed from view.
Please can it be set to show more members, or at least stay set at the number the user chooses.

Re: who's on line setting

Why don’t you just click onto page two of the “Who’s Online” list to see what members are doing who’s names start with letters further down the alphabet ?

I do- but want to avoid doing

In that case I don’t know Margaret. Just tested what you said by altering the “Display” number to 30 from 25 but it reverts back to the default figure of 25 when you navigate from the page. Can only assume that when we get our “cookies” from the site that the altered info isn’t retained….sure some techy can enlighten. Just live with it lass, int a biggie is it. :)

Will retract the “int a biggie” comment as it infers that the question is petty.

The rest of my answer was my best guess.

It may well be an easy thing for Roy to reset the page number, and will save a bit of 'clicking about'. Maybe he didn't expect so many of us on at any one time.

Re: who's on line setting

Mine currently shows 27 names in Accyweb Blue but changing to Accyweb Red it shows 26.

If memory serves me well, in the past it has shown four or more lines of names.

I clicked that link - saw the 50 - went to new posts - went back again to who's on line and found it back on 25
Am I missing something:confused:
I just want it to show 50 all the time without having to reset it:(

Re: who's on line setting

I think that maybe we have been at cross-purposes here.

I was referring to the list of “Who is currently on-line” in the “What’s Going On” section shown near the bottom of the home page.

You get to see who is on-line at a glance.

Currently it is just me and Roy and I’m going back to bed so Roy will be all on his own.

Re: who's on line setting

It looks like the default is 25, probably because it makes an easily manageable page length.

Yeah the default is 25, if you navigate away and back you will only see 25, if you want to keep it at 50 just set it as a bookmark
