Possible Link Exchange?

I run a website for a local town called Darwen Online. I contacted you by email to request information on a link exchange.

We have created a footer area similar to yours to link into neighbouring town websites such as Blackburn247 etc. Would you be interested in exchanging text links with us in this way?

Our community website is www.darwenonline.co.uk

Thanks

Just tried the link, you've made it real easy to join, tried for 5 mins and got fed up. Yours is also one of the web sites, that when you click the back button, you get a page telling you the site is not available.

Re: Possible Link Exchange?

Were you trying to sign up to - the forum or to list your company in the business directory?

We don't have an auto link exchange programme as yet but the other two (forum/directory) should be easy to register for. Please provide some info about where your browser ran into problems and which browser you're using so we can work on ironing out any errors.

The back button work on all pages except when you've submitted some information via a form etc, in which case the page will have expired.

We are actually working on improving the sign up process for the directory by adjusting the payment process, but free listings should be working.

I'd be interested in a link exchange with AccringtonWeb as both sites would compliment each other.

Back button works fine for me as well. I have not tried signing up though.

Oh goody - they are debating the fact that anyone can produce a website using Frontpage, Dreamweaver etc.

Websites created with these tools tend to do what is possible rather than what is needed - my option will always be web designer.
