Avatars

Hello moderators!

Just chosen an avatar but I couldn't see half of them as the page selection buttons were off the screen and I couldn't scroll far enough to see them. Is it just me?

You can upload your own picture Ken, if you have one you like

Re: Avatars

Thanks Michelle, I'll use the Rishton coat of arms.

Despite lots of patient advice from Less it's still displaying in exactly the same way which is really odd since it's a completely unique problem. No other areas of AccyWeb are causing me problems either!

There are other things in life for me to worry about, just thought it might be something other people have come across as well.

Re: Avatars

Yeah I reported that ages ago, does the same on the smilies when you go to advanced mode.
Are you using Firefox?

Ken Moss 03-02-2010 18:03

Re: Avatars

Nope, I'm on Internet Explorer 8 and have had no problems anywhere else. It's reassuring to know that I'm not alone in this problem!

Re: Avatars

OK, i thought we narrowed it down to Firefox but its that long since I can't remember

Do you get it with the smilies too?

Re: Avatars

Its just come to me what it was, your zoomed into the page too much.
Ctrl and scroll wheel on the mouse to zoom out a bit, it will correct itself

Who cares what zoom you are at. Just zoom it till it looks good for your eyes and screen. That what I do on this 10.2" netbook. Using Firefox and the only time the page width is wrong on AccyWeb is with silly big pictures in the members list pages.

A touch of the exciting Music and the white haired moderator is seen walking into a 'phone booth and a very old reel to reel tape recorder Announces:-

"Neil this is mission impossible headquarters, your next job,(and you've volunteered to take it), is to reduce the sizes of all the over large piccy's in the members list pages, Your head will explode when you get to the L's, as I know a certain member will be right behind you and will enlarge his picture straight afterwards."

The white haired one is having enough problems getting my profile to work properly as it is without trying to get me doing that as well :D

I think he might have a breakdown trying :D

You've had the job for over 24 hours, YOU should be white haired by now!

Tried all of your suggestions and it just makes the screen smaller and doesn't bring the avatars off the right of the screen into view either.

I'll stick with what I've got, everything else on the site works!
