As Jaysay said WHY.
A question like that gives the impression of an ulterior motive.
Especally when there have been several threads asking for builders, plumbers, sparkies and decorators.

Not abusing.. Welcome to Dam...

But we are kinda suspicious by nature, having been round the block a few times & seen this before.

Perhaps if Dam were to return and explain why the need for a sub forum like that is required
and what Dam can get from it that posting similar threads elsewhere in the forum cannot ?

If you are suspicious about a post or it is against the rules, contains bad language etc then please use the report button under the users name. Its the red triangle. Then just say whats wrong with it. This creates a thread in the moderators forum so it is very easily picked up by us. Doing this is a great help to us and lets us swiftly deal with issues.

We do read all posts but it takes time, reported threads get dealt with first.

No ulterior motive and i could have searched the forum for what i was after ` A trustworthy reliable sat installer` and maybe found what i was after but i`m sure i like lots of others who live in accrington would benifit from such a sub forum.

There is actually a forum where you can ask for hints/tips & advice which IMO could also include requests for things like that as I am sure that it already has in the past.

If you cannot find what your after, just ask in there & I'm sure many will say which ones to avoid & which ones are OK.

To get a good tradesman who is vetted by the police and does not rip you off but does a good tidy job give Hyndburn Homewise a ring.
I have used plumbers and joiners twice now who are on Homewise books and will be looking to them for a decorator soon.
They do not advertise apart from the phone book and don't charge.
They will give you a few names to pick from and soon afterward will ring you to see who you used and were you happy with the job and price.
No need to look further.
