Invisible post!

I just posted something in the Accrington Observer thread but noticed that it wasn't there, so thinking that I must have pressed a wrong button I tried to post it again.

I got the response that I was duplicating a post I'd already made so I looked for it again but it still wasn't there.

Any idea what can have happened?

Yep that's the one. She looks like someone I know. I wonder why I can't see it?

I can't see it either Willow. Althought it says you were the last poster, I can still see Pendy's as the last post.

I can read it using I.E. and also read it using Firefox but when I view it using Opera I cannot see your post. Strange.

Re: Invisible post!

When I viewed the thread using Opera there was only two pages (2 of 2) and there should have been three because of the post you made. The post you made was actually there but for some reason the page 3 of 3 wasn’t being displayed.

Re: Invisible post!

The settings I had for Opera in my options was, for the Number of Posts to Show Per Page was set at “Use forum Default” Try selecting 20 or 30 posts Per page. May be there is a fault with “Use forum Default”. The other browser I tried I had already selected 20 posts Per page and they seemed ok. Just a thought.

Once PCPLod3487 had posted a test it seems to have reappeared (but I can't see his/her test but that may be because it was later deleted). Never had that before. I'll look at my settings if it ever happens again.

It looks like PC plod did a test post in that thread to see if his post appears, it must have done along with yours. He has also deleted his post, leaving yours remaining. Maybe it just wanted a nudge or something. lol :idunno:
Maybe Roy can shed a bit of light on the subject.
