Request a pic idea
 

This used to be on the old Accy dot NET website that Sue ran (is she OK?) where people could reqeust a picture .. exiles may want a pic of there old house or old school etc.. Beermonster just asked for reecent pics of accy

Why not a new section in the photo area.. REQUEST A PHOTO or somehting. I am sure we have enough members who would be happy to take a pic or two if asked... I aint into that sorta thing but I am sure others are.

Anyway as always./. just a suggestion :)

Good idea Kipax, but would it need another thread or could it be incorperated within what we have now?

Perhaps in the past, people didn't like the thought of asking others but I am sure that Willow for one would jump at the chance. When it comes to taking photographs, Her camera goes everywhere (almost) with her and I am sure that there are many others that would do likewise!:camera8:

I also think it is a good idea.
It would be better with its own forum situated below “Photoshop, Digital Photography, Digital Imaging”
Or maybe a sub forum of “Photoshop, Digital Photography, Digital Imaging”
But I do like the idea of it having its own forum, easier for everyone to see.

I'm quite often out and about with my camera so anything local which anybody would like photographing they only have to ask. :)

Well I'm in agreement with Kipax for once it's a great idea, there are loads of us with camaras that would post the pics, does anyone know what happened to Su ?

Sue (cant remember her name) for years ran a very succesfull acy website caled accy.net ...

The website had loads of stuff to read about accy and amongst other things had the request a picture feature.. anyone emailing asking and she would go out and take the pic.

No messagbeoard .. just a very informative website that dissapeared a year or so ago.... I have no idea what happened to her.. would have expected her to pop up on accyweb if still about on the net

Anyway the website dissapeared and the domain was coming up for renewel and I pointed roy to it as it would attract people who already had links to it because it was a long standing site... I didnt want the domain so Roy went for it.. thus if you put accy.net in now it will come here.

It was a good website.

As I've lived in Accy nearly all my life (give or take a bit here and there) I'd never actually thought of looking it up on the net as you would for places you don't know about and are thinking of visiting etc.

It was Busman who pointed me in the direction of this place. (Being a foreigner from "down south" he'd looked up Accy on Google)

So then folks in charge - are we having a forum for it?
