Grannyclaret......I think you have to have 100 posts before you can award Karma.
When you have the required amount of posts......if you see a thread that you think is particularly good then you can award good karma by clicking on the Karma section of that persons post.....likewise you can take Karma points away in a similar manner.
I have to admit that I have never deducted Karma points from anyone.....if I don't like a particular opinion it doesn't mean that it is wrong for that opinion to be expressed, and it does make for an interesting site when there is a variety of ideas and opinions.

thanks Margaret ,it seems clearer now ,,on the burnley web things seem a bit different .they dont have karma ,i will get the hang of it soon ...

I have just discovered this karma thing..... and I have been here for over a year now..... sometimes i'm just too observant for my own good :rolleyes:

willow it was one on accy when i was having a laugh with luke about growing a tache.

ha ha very funny.
it seems that i have cyberstalker who keeps deducting karma.
is there anyway to stop this happening. the persons still snide and is refusing to sign his/her name.

I would just like to add at this point is that Roy (admin) has the ability to view who has added/taken away karma. So if anyone is abusing the system then they had better stop. If not, then do it at your own risk. You have been warned.

i've just sent an email to pc plod asking for a resolution . thanks for this len . it's very irritating and spoiling my use of the system.
