Can't transfer ackers!
 

Can anyone else transfer their ackers to someone elses account?? I could do previously but it won't let me do it now!!! Help!! Biscuit will starve to death by tomorrow!!

That's the same message I got! How can there be nothing left of a transfer?? Maybe Roy only put the original 40 transfers on and we have usd 'em all up;oh no!!

ok, i've given the system another stock of 10.... it's to keep control of the system so there is no funny business or money laundering, I can keep my eye on you all ;)

I think this happens when is too much Ackers are flying around the banking system. I would think everything will be fine again soon I not to sure if it’s on a 24 hour cycle. I have tried to make a transfer without success; however I will send you A100.00 pocket money for Moon as soon as it will allow me too. Don’t read anything in to that last statement; Bitch earns enough to support a couple more of her pet friends….

Cheers Roy;I can assure there is no money laundering going on from Ormerod Towers! I transfer ackers to Moon so she can feed her dog Biscuit;there isn't much she can post about on here at the moment being only 9.Maybe if we had a kid's section she could talk more to people her own age;I know there are a few young ones on the Stanley site and possibly on here too.{and no;I'm not sarcastically referring to the teen fans on the Stanley site!**

A childrens section would be ideal for the young ones, but sadly in this day and age it would also be prime target for certain types of individuals. Sad but true.

I think it would take a lot of moderation time. Not many mods around later at night. I know kids should be asleap but not all. Maybe it could have open and close times to ease moderation.

It still looks like a lot of work.

I think if you could set open and close times on it and limit the admission to the kids whose parents are on here;then their e mail addresses could be checked that would be a fantastic step forward for the Accyweb's next generation!

I think it's a great idea. Mimi (Willows daughter) would like to post more but most of the discussions are too adult in that they mostly refer to political issues. Also, Mimi has a slightly younger sister that is also keen to join given the right circumstances......but we would need to be assured of our childrens safety on line which could be difficult!

Would it be feasable Roy, for a teenage thread to be opened (7 -15 year olds) where adults can view but only children with confirmed ages (and with parents as accy members) can actually post on that thread?

As for times, both neil and lyndsay made a good suggestion in that the thread should have restricted hours!

I think it would need more than that.

Someone could register, post and join in for a bit. 6 months later register a 10 year old. Allow 10 year old to use junior forum.

All the time user is a pedophile setting up a profile to abuse our children and use the 10 year olds account.

I agree neil, but one safeguard would be to block P.M's to and from junior members so that ALL contacts and conversations will be made in the public domain.

I am sure it would be difficult for Roy to set this up safely, but if he can, the Accyweb would be that much better. (If that is possible;) )

It would be good mate i agree. I just worry about the safety of my 7 year old. He would like to join in I am sure. All he does now is play games logged on as his mum.

I can see it being safer with only public posts - good idea.

Although I respect and understand your concerns we have to take in to account that there are a number of younger members already on accyweb without any of these safe guards in place. Obviously there is parental supervision and there’s always almost someone on who knows other members and their offspring.

Too many restrictions, “irrespective of concerns” would remove much of the enjoyment for both children and parents. We need to be safe, but we can’t continue to live in fear of these predators, we know their out there and we all have a duty to protect not only our children but each other. You can put in as many safe guards as you can afford or think about, but people who set out to abuse will find a way through, at the end of the day we are our own best defence, any concerns should be reported to the Administrator and or, the Moderators.
