Hello all

I registered with the site yesterday and tptb asked me to say hi - so I am...

hi! :p

I'm a Blackburn Rovers fan (not living in the region unfortunately) and Accrington Stanley are my 2nd team.

Since they are certainly going to be a league team next season I though I would ingratiate myself to the Accy crowd before that happens ;)

Hello Finchy, I too am a Rovers fan living away from home. I am in the midlands & this weekend Rovers are playing the Albion , who my husband & son supports, but I am not afraid.
Also as I am from Accy I keep a close eye on Stanley, and the other night I had Invision on BBC so I could see them beat Exeter. They're running away with their league.. Happy Days eh?

we were drawn against West Ham away in the 4th round so it was inevitable that we were going to get knocked out (it's a bogey fixture for us). They won 4-2 :( (I was at the match).

So we're "concentrating on the league"! :rolleyz8: ;)

hello doozer,it is a small world,actually live in cheektowaga still not that for from lockport.i used too do security at the famous lockport mall before they shut evrything down.anyway it's good to hear from you.

hello wynonie i still follow the stanley as well,as i did play for the reserves for a season back in the early seventies,just for one season.anyway i really hope that they make it,it would be great too see them back in the league.i do spend some time on there web site.

Glad to hear it, Bryan. Maybe you can fit in a trip to the IES on one of your trips home? Incidentally, I reckon I know you vaguely. Lived round the corner from you in Claret Street and was in the same class at Accy Grammar as your older brother, Steve.
