Good evening from Scotland

Hi I used to come to Accrington twice a year till the age of 12 when my gran died. She lived in Paxton St then moved to Claremont Rd during the late 60s.

I still go up every other weekend to watch a certain team...
so where in glasgow are you from mate ?
I am originally from the dodgy east end but moved out to a classy part of EK.
I am quite jealous of you as you can go out and buy some square sausage when ever you want ! - but it has to be steal lorne !!

and Garinda where bouts did you live in glasgow and its not a great city - its the best? - its one of the largest cities in europe and only 2nd behind london for shopping in the whole of the uk ! - and not a discount shop to be seen !

Welcome to our wacky little world. Agree with the bit on Glasgow but when did East Kilbride get a "classy part?"

have you never heard of stewarfield and there are certain parts of St Leonards that are very plush...and not all glasgow is dodgy mate as I am sure you will know - only the bits that lie in the east of the city !
its probably no worse than any other major city !

Originally from Ossy, I'd been living in London for seventeen years working in fashion. I met some people on holiday from Glasgow, and they invited me up for the weekend.

I had such a great time I went back to London, handed my notice in and sold my flat and moved there on the day the twin towers were attacked.

I lived in the West End, in Kelvinbridge, but ended up managing an 'adult store' in the Merchant City, so I hope we never met.;)

Glasgow and it's people are fantastic.

Anyone that has never been, give it a go, it's one of the most beautiful and friendly cities I've ever been to in the world.

Cheers.:)

Great pics.

From my flat I could see the University and Kelvingrove Museum, all lit up at night, and from the front of my flat I could look out towards the city centre.

Although a 'Westend boy', I was very often out down the Eastend.

Let me tell you about my adventures under George V bridge with the legless woman...............on seconds thought I'd better not.:(

I have just spoken to someone who remembers this....I will get back to you...
it cant be private lines in the gallowgate as thats too far up from the merchant city and too tacky...

Why's the sky all pink in George Square?

By the way, the place I worked was so discreetly tucked away in an eighteenth century building in the Merchant City, only those in the know could find it. It's just yards off the live webcam link though.;)
