Hi everyone
 

Just joined the board and thought I would say hi to everyone.

I currently live between Blackburn and Accrington and technically live in Hyndburn, but it says Blackburn on my mail!

I also help to run www.blackburn247.com and have just put a link to this site on the links pages.

To me that reads that its OK to post hateful racist or harassful stuff as long as you've got the permission of the original author!

Ah, it's just badly written that's all. It wasn't intended. That disclaimer was changed recently, as we had someone on the site posting absolute garbage which offended everyone. Did you really think that we would allow such a thing??? :o

It's just mis-written courtesy of the mis-management ;)

Thanks for bringing that up anyway, it's been edited to say what it was originally intended to say.

when I try to log in it says incorrect user name. ???

Who have you registered as? What's your username?

Someone else had a problem with registering today, but I tested it and it was fine. I'm baffled... :-/

Dodgers are good. Once got some cheapy Tesco dodgers and they gave me a dodger high. No joke. It must have been the sugar or maybe some E# in them.

Maybe some unruly Tesco employee spiked them with hash. I don't know, but I was in a very chucklesome mood that day I can tell you.

At the moment though, I'm addicted to Maynard sours and Diet Coke with Lemon. Mmmmmmmm :P

We should sort out some sort of webring for North West websites or something. I hadn't a clue this was online, then yesterday got a message from someone who operated Burnley and Pendle websites telling me about those two and this one.

Are there any more websites for the NW. I know that there's one for Southport, and of course Burnley, Accy and Pendle, but don't know of any others.

Erm, yes it is a nice forum with lots of happy chatters Mick, but I run blackburn247.com. I will pop in here when I can, but I'll also be there too. Our sites only been going for 12 months so it's still in its infancy really.

I wanted to know of other links because I would put them on our links page. And I just meant that a webring would be good so that people would know of other NW community websites. I live between Accy and Blackburn so I use both shopping centres, both pubs/clubs etc, so it's nice to use both sites, and I'm sure there are others too.

Is there an Oswaldtwistle website? Because I live (literally) up the road from Ossie.

Just had a look on the member list and it seems that the first registration was in March 2003 so I stand corrected ;) I think I thought it had been going that long because Roy is down as being admin since Jan 2001. But that can make sense because I was registered at blackburn247.com in Sept 2002 even though the site didn't become live to the public till November 22nd of that year.

yup, march 2003 thats when it started!  Don't know why I'm down as 2001 though, never noticed before but believe me I didn't spend 2 years talking to myself on here!  ;D ;D  google is a big help in bringing more visitors here, we come up on the first page when you type in accrington. Took about 6 months to get there though!

Do you want banning to anything goes mick??  :)
