New to the forum and with a request for help. I had a small but pretty powerful digital camera in Accy library last week and it disappeared. I can claim insurance, a bit, but can't replace the family holiday snaps that were on the card. If you are offered a digital camera from an unexpected source then let me know please. It's a Pentax Optio if that's any help. They can keep the camera for what it's worth but I would like the card if possible (although it's probably wiped by now). Sorry for this downer.

Awww, :( I'm sorry to hear about your loss, good luck with your search for it. I sort of know how it feels, I lost a lot of un-replaceable pictures when my pc died and needed formatting (I hadn't backed them up on a CD), I tried to console myself with the thought that yes, the pictures had gone but I still had the memories.

Ian can get stuff off dead hard discs more often than not. If anyone needs help please ask him before doing anything with the disc.
