Aye James, it sure is. We've got views of the Skyline drive from just over our backyard. Unfortunately, many from Northern Virginia have been heading this way making our County the 7th fastest growing in the country. It's such a shame to see huge farms going into developing these mega $500,000 homes. Now new schools being built, roads cut through, shopping centers going up . . . EEEWWWWW

Welcome back James! My brother plays Lancs league Cricket for Accy 1st team;David Ormerod,and my dad played for them some years back (ahem !) he is Alick Ormerod. We may have something in common here to chat about!

I have wondered for some time if your family is related to the Burnley cricketing Ormerods? I attended Burnley Municipal College with Donald Ormerod in the early 1940s and played cricket with him there (I was a leg-break/googly bowler and, I am sorry to say, a poor batsman -- Donald was an outstanding batter and fast bowler) -- he went on to play for Burnley during the 1950s where he performed very well with the bat and occasionally with the ball. Sadly, my best Burnley friend -- Dennis Slater --informed me that Donald died earlier this year.
