New Member

I joined your website yesterday - it looked interesting when I was browsing.
I may be your oldest member, maybe not.
I never used the internet until May this year.
I am happy to have joined you all and when I find out how to post a message about family research I will do so.

I have never been to Accrington in my life but my father was born there and all his forebears so I am not a complete foreigner!

No need to be embarrassed. It is better to ask and risk people thinking that you are a fool than remaining ignorant and being one. Even at 70 I still ask questions if I don’t know something.
