Hello, I'm baillieman2

I have a dear friend who lives in Oswaldtwistle who I have visited in the past and who often comes to visit us here on Gran Canaria. You may know him as Rindy but to us he is Garinda and will always remain so.

Met some of you at the monthly meet in March last year but had to leave earlier than planned because Garinda insisted on taking me round some of the delightful hostelries in the area.

Looking forward to joining in some of the lively discussions.

Oi, just because I recently joined your local forum don't think you can come on here.:eek:

At least you'll see how good Accy Web is, compared to your Spanish equivalent. No mad women mods on here, well at least not many.:D

May I take this opportunity of thanking you for the charity work you do in allowing Garinda to have a few weeks holiday away in the sun, and giving us all a rest from his exhausting personality ... :D

Hello there. I´m off to Gran Canaria for the day on the thirtieth of the month. My friend´s daughter needs a minder on her school trip and ´Auntie June´ has been volunteered for the honour!

We leave Tenerife at some ungodly hour and are doing a tour of the island. If you see some poor half a sleep Lancashire lass surrounded by hundreds of Spanish kiddies do say hello!

Katex - there is a baillieman1 somewhere in the world but who knows where. Created the name baillieman a few years ago but it had been taken by this other person. I added the "2" to allow me to use it and have stuck by it over the years.

Junetta - sure that you will have a great time. There is plenty to see on the island and it is quiet different from Tenerife.

Emamum23 - thanks for the Spanish. I started an intensive course in the language. A year overdue but will be worth the effort.

Well, Baillieman, how time flies!

I´m off on my trip tomorrow and have my itinery..........Agaete. Vegueta, Teror, Firgus and Arucas. Six coach loads of us attacking Gran Canaria.
