Greetings and welcome to the Accy site, Ann. Did you live on Cranbourne Drive with your parents and brother Andrew who went into the Royal Navy?

Yeah - that´s me!!! Andy stayed in RN for about 10yrs. He´s now living in Buckingham with wife and two teenage kids. Working in MK for a computer company. Mum and dad have now moved down there too. Where did you live back then?

Re: HI there
I remember Barbara (he-he!!) Clough, Matey, Graham Heywood - wasn´t that the same year as Andy Whitcombe and David Beresford? Maybe also Lee Jennings, Malcolm Rostrom and David Raistrick - I think??
I enjoyed Chris´s (on the whole)....used to love the youth hostel holiday´s - when we´d go off to the Yorkshire dales walking - great fun...ever go on those??? Mr Winkley and Neddy would spearhead those trips - they were a bit grumpy to say the least but we used to have a good crack nonetheless!!! |
Re: HI there
ohhhhh.....that´s fighting talk.....I do love a bit of crack!!!!

Did'nt actually get on any trips out...apart from one up to Malham for the day...exotic eh! I do recall neddy (Mr Riding) he used to terrify me in woodwork...he used to foam at the mouth!!! Lol!! Remember laughing at Mr Williams who took us for science....none of his experiments ever worked!! Best Regards - Taggy |
Re: HI there
that´s right - I remember Neddy´s mouth - awful wasn´t it!!! What a shame about David B....he was a good footballer I seem to remember. Mr Williams was my first form teacher - he was a bit of a burk! Do you remember the two African toads that used to sit in that manky green tank on the side desk of room 16.....poor buggers never used to have any clean water and they were ALWAYS bonking. We used to laugh like hell watching em!
