into the unknown

hello to anyone who reads this.im not sure what im doing but sitting here on a wet friday night it seemed a good idea to go on line and talk to people.does anyone know of walking groups in accy or ossy which i could join...just an informal one .i wlked all around ossy and grren haworth last week on one of the sunny days and remembered when i lived at nigher friar hill farm as a little girl and used to play in priestley clough.i seem to remember coming across a large stone on top of whch was a sundial and also seeing the remains of a red brick building which i was told used to be an isolation hospital....its going back a long time but i wondere if anyone can enlighten me.i am going to send this now....no idea where it will go but fingers crossed!

thanks to everyone who replied to me and made me feel welcome.im still finding my way around the web as you can probably tell.knowing how many people use it i wonder if there is anyone who worked at accy library from around 1965 until 1980.i workes there durung that time ...apart from breaks to have children and can honestly say i loved it and made a lot of friends but lost touch when i moved away.
