Hi Everyone
 

I was born on the east coast and came here 40 years ago with my Other Half who followed the work here; this only lasted a year so we set up our own business, which closed when I retired a decade ago. Accrington was home for the first 10 years and since then home is in Baxenden.
My hobby is family history and the first person I researched was Lucy(born 1853) - hence my username.
I look forward to chatting to you.

I also have a fascination with family history and have done for the past 30 years or so. It's amazing what the internet can help with these days but there is nothing like a wander round an old graveyard now and again

If you're into family history you'll find John in the reference section of Accy library most helpful. Not sure if you're already aware but they also have a family history group that meets at the library.
