Hi, My name is Marion Pettifer and live just north of Kingston Ontario. I worked at Rist Wires prior to emmigrating here in 1976. We were in Accrington in June this year, and 3 years before that. We find the UK very expensive, and the price of houses are unbelieveable, how young people can afford them I don't know. Went to Mount Pleasant school in Clayton-Le-Moors. My maiden name was Gee. Would love to hear from any of our (Mick Pettifer is my husband of 42 years) old friends of school mates.

I have been racking my brains to think if I know you or your hubby.
I lived in the Woodnook area until 1966 when I got married and moved to Clayton.
My single name was Margaret Duxbury.....went to Woodnook school until 1962.
