Marl
Hello everyone I am an Accrington lass born and bred and I remember the 60s very well and I often wonder about old friends from those days.Chrissy wrote on asking about the Roe family who lived in Clayton I went out with Chris Roe in 1965 we had some great times and enjoyed going to the odeon to watch a good film..Needless to say Chris used to want to sit on the back row but I always declined his invitation and made sure we didn't sit there( ha ha). Also I used to ride my bike down Chapel Street accy to see my gran Mary Feeley she was a great character she would walk up Birtwisle Street on her way to the Colliers Arms with her steel bottom clogs on to pick up her jug of mild beer.Wonder if anyone remembers her.

Thank you for the welcome posts much appreciated.

I was wondering if there was anyway to amend a post that had already been sent because in my introductory post I put I was going out with Chris Roe in 1975 when in fact it was 1965!!!!! Sorry if it caused offence.
