Hello there, found this site by chance while looking for general info about Accrington. I used to work in the Tourist Information Centre in Accrington Town Hall until Feb, 2001, I loved the work, the area and the people of Hyndburn and although I now live in Bonnie Scotland and love it here I do still miss down there and visit whenever I can.

If its the Barbara that worked in the County Info Office, corner of the market hall, yes I do know her, although I didnt work with her we did see a bit of each other in our work. I do miss all the people I worked with we had a very happy, friendly team at Accy town hall.

Dont remember you from Sandy Lane, (but then I dont rember a lot of things these days!), but yes I did work in the town hall when Ian was in office, I remember him well, he should remember my Cajun cooking.

had a trip to inverness and areas and back in the day, 3 weeks ago, a very nice place i must say, good views from the a roads accross the glens!

Sorry its taken sooooooo long to reply. No my roots are in Burnley (well some one has to come from there) I met a braw Scot (on the web) came up to Bonnie Scotland to meet him and couldnt find my way back, so stayed and married him.
